Luxury is often defined as extravagance and opulence. It also means “the state of great comfort.” For Ginet Casido Interiors, quality goods and quality service is encapsulated in luxury interior design.
Quality goods: I work with reputable suppliers, manufacturers, and tradespeople to provide you superior furnishings and finishes. I’m especially passionate about selecting a high quality sofa. You most likely spend the majority of your waking hours at home sitting on your sofa. It is important for me to ensure that your main seating is made in the utmost quality. Therefore, I will select a sofa that is U.S.-made and from companies that practice sustainability.
Quality service: Quality service is broken down in three ways to ensure your expectations are met throughout the design process: 1) organized system and processes, 2) transparency, and 3) communication.
1) After much research, I developed a five-phase/ten-step process that defines the tasks, deliverables (what will be handed and/or presented to you), anticipated timelines, and what is required of you (such as approvals and attending presentation meetings). I believe being organized and detail-oriented allows you to understand what to expect as a whole and within each design phase.
2) Transparency is showing the pricing of my services, the wording in the contract, and working together in coming up with an accurate project investment. On the website, you see the starting prices of the services. I don’t know of many designers that let you know right away, but I want to be transparent with you from the very beginning. I don’t list every single task associated with each service. However, I show you a summary of deliverables so you can see part of the value I offer. Also, the contract is worded in a way that is hopefully easy to understand, without too much “legal jargon,” especially when it pertains to how I offer discounts on goods and labor. Lastly, we will work together on the project investment (I prefer this term over “budget”). You will most likely have a number and wish list in mind before we meet. We’ll come up with a plan of action and investment that meets your needs and desires.
3) Communication goes hand-in-hand with transparency. Productive communication is key to any relationship. You’ll get weekly updates and we promise to respond back to your emails and calls within a business day. Open communication is also important with your general contractor and any other vendor or tradesperson with whom we work.
As for Family-Friendly design, I will space plan, as well as select furnishings and materials, based on your family’s lifestyle. You will fill out a detailed Client and Project Questionnaire so I gain a great understanding of how I can best serve you and design to your needs and desires. When it comes to your home, you, your kids, pets, parents, and guests are all a part of the thought process when I come up with the design.
Particularly with your home decor and remodeling, you will get what you pay for, whether it be for the products and/or the services you utilize. It’s my job to offer you quality solutions for your project needs and investment.
